- Kuppahalli of Srinivasapur taluk of Kolar district is our foundation Chairman Dr. Hullunachegowda Ji’s Hometown. Food kits were distributed to all the people of the village during Covid. As drinking water is also unavailable in summer, the work of supplying drinking water in water tankers to every house is going on continuously
In 2018 as per Dr. K. R. Hullunachegowda Ji's wish, we decided to transform the village Kadabageri in Vijayanagara district to an organic village. The area was completely barren then. The farmers there were really in trouble. Under the leadership of our Microbi Foundation, meetings were held with the farmers of Kadabageri village in the divine presence of Dr. Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swamiji, Sanehalli Math and with the cooperation of local MLA Shri Rabindranath. We surveyed the entire village. Officials from Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Forest Department, Animal Husbandry Department etc. joined hands with us. Departmental grants flowed to the village. About 50 thousand saplings were planted in that village.
Agricultural bunds were constructed. Fruits saplings, agroforestry crops were planted on the barren land. Thousands of cashew plants were supplied with the help of Dharmasthala Sri Virendra Heggade Ji. On the whole, the district level officials and taluk level officials continued to cooperate with the farmers. As a result, today the village is glorious with greenery. Farmers' plantations are now groves of fruits, coconut, areca nut, forest crops like sandalwood, red sandalwood, teak etc. worth crores of rupees. Even farmers with very little land are earning millions of Rupees. Today the farmers of Kadabageri are producing abundantly and they are prosperous. The entire village has achieved success in organic farming.
Microbi Foundation organized programs for all-round development of farmers at every district, taluk and gram panchayat level of the State through the campaign "Let the Soil Live".
From May 2022, a 9-month campaign called "Let the Soil Live" was conducted across 200 gram panchayats in Karnataka. The campaign focused on soil sustainability, organic certification, and direct sale of produce through the “Dhatu App”.
Practical trainings for farmers in 9 months: -
In the month of April 2022, large scale programs were organized in Bagalkote, Koppal, Hassan, Chitradurga, Davangere and Mandya district centers involving about 20 districts to unite the farmers. Around 200 successful organic farmers in all the above districts were felicitated with " Savayava Krishi Ratna (Organic Agriculture Gems)" awards.
Officials, political leaders of the respective parts and the prestigious Pontiffs of different Mutts were actively participated in the programs. The programs were a huge and unprecedented success. Sanehalli Guru Dr. Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swamiji has done lokarpan a mobile app called "Dhatu App" in Davanagere, which provides direct marketing platform for farmer's products and produces.
Over the past twelve years continuously we have organized thousands of 'Thotadalli Krishi patha (skill development training)' in farmers' orchards/fields through our organization, teaching farmers about practical techniques of soil fertility, ill effects of soil pollution and solutions.
We have detoxified thousands of hectares in every taluk across the state. Dr. K. R. Hullunachegowda ji, who is the founder president of the organization and is a famous "Organic Guru" of the State have traveled 6 lakh kilometers across the state to improve the lives of farmers and popularize the importance of organic farming. Millions of farmers voluntarily participate in his programs, acquire and implement organic knowledge.
